The Ongoing Revolution in the Real Estate Sector of Punjab

The real estate sector in Punjab has witnessed a tremendous growth over the course of the past few decades. The ongoing revolution around The Real Estate Regulation and Development Act, The Goods and Services Tax and The Benami Properties Act are only expected to further trigger the demand for housing products throughout the state.

The addition of Ludhiana to the list of the first twenty cities to be developed as smart cities in India has had a phenomenal impact on the real estate sector in the industrial city. The rising demand for 2 BHK flats in Ludhiana are a scalable proof of the previously mentioned statement.
Other Tier II cities like Mohali have also witnessed an exceptional upsurge in the demand for housing products. This is largely because of the upcoming airport in the region and the real estate developers in Chandigarh are working tirelessly to capitalize on the situation.

It would be fair to say that the ongoing developments in the real estate sector of the agricultural state has helped garner the attention of highly seasoned investors and will go on to contribute by notable margins in putting the vibrant state on the map.
